BAKING AS SELF CARE?  Baking is a great way to relax and de-stress, and to show yourself love and appreciation. When you bake, you have to focus on the present moment and follow the steps of the recipe. This can help to take your mind off of your worries and stresses. Additionally, the smell and taste of freshly baked goods can be very calming and comforting. Here are some tips for using baking as a self-care practice: • Choose a recipe that you enjoy. Baking is more enjoyable if you are baking something that you like to eat. • Set aside some time for yourself. Baking can take some time, so it is important to set aside some time for yourself to bake without any distractions.  • Be mindful of the process.
